Services is a best-effort guess based on the network's registered organization name, not a live VPN or proxy check.
How this works
Your browser asks.
We don't listen in.
Your IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are requested directly from ipify, and the location, ISP, and network details from ipwho.is, both public lookup services, queried straight from your browser. The map is drawn from OpenStreetMap tiles. Nothing passes through or is stored on dabl.dev.
IP geolocation is inherently approximate: it is tied to your ISP's network registration, not GPS, so it usually lands on your city or region rather than your street. If you are on a VPN or corporate network, you will see that connection's details, not your own, which is normal, not a bug.
